Reserving Your Plot and Ordering Your Home

We make buying a home from Atlantic Parks as easy as we can, with standard contracts for the purchase of your home and straightforward payment terms. If you are in the process of selling a home in the UK but would like to reserve a plot now, so as to get the one you like best, then we can arrange for you to pay a deposit and we will hold the plot for you.The plot reservation fee is €5,000 and with a 50% payment for the home you can hold your reservation for 6 months or even more. That means for a lodge in phase 2 you would need to pay as little as £17,500 to reserve for the autumn or even the beginning of next year.

Once you are in a position to go ahead and order your home we require the second 50% of the purchase price to confirm the order with the manufacturer and a couple of months later you will have your home finished and ready to enjoy. Once the home is installed and ready to move into, the first year's rent, or the long term lease payment will be due. All annual fees will be then due on that date for the following years.
The long term lease lasts up to 29 years and is a great way to budget; you pay €45,000 (£35,000 aprox.) when moving on to the park and then there is no ground rent for the full term of the lease. Ground rent is currently €3,000 per year so there is a great saving to be made by paying up front for those that can.


Frequently Asked Questions

Can I sell my home some time in the future?
Yes you can, and we don’t take a percentage of the selling price, we just charge an administration fee of €3,000 for transferring the papers to the new tenant. Leases can be sold with the house and transferred in the same way however any period paid for in rent will be forfeit and the new tenant will have to pay rent from day one of their occupancy.

How long can I keep the home on the plot?
As long as the home is in good repair it can stay on the plot. So look after your home and it will give you great value, especially if you clad it in Canexel which is guaranteed for 25 years, ask our sales department for details. 


How long can I stay on the park?
As long as you pay the rent and bills and your home is in good condition you can stay on the park indefinitely. Rental contracts are indefinitely renewable as are the leases.


How are electricity and services charged?
On a usage basis. The electricity is metered and charged at the standard national rate, the gas is bottled and the water is charged annually based on the previous year's usage.

Can have a telephone and internet?
Yes, we are working with Telefonica, the national telephone company of Spain to offer fixed lines with internet to each home. You can have internet and free national calls from under £20 per month and unlimited calls to the UK from under £15 per month.

Is Sky Satellite available?
Yes, we will be offering a package for hookup with a box priced around £270.


Can I have a pet?
Yes. No pets will be allowed in the central lodge, restaurant or pool area, but you can have a pet (or possibly 2 little ones) and keep them on your plot. What’s more there are 66 acres of wonderful countryside to walk them in.

Can I rent out my home?
No, we do not allow clients to rent out their homes, but you may allow friends and family to use it as long as you register them first with reception.

Is the park open all year?
Yes, the park will be open 365 days a year.

Will there be a shop?
Yes, there will be a shop run out of the restaurant building selling fresh bread, fruit, vegetables as well as other tinned and frozen foods. Also available will be the essential household consumables. Newspapers and magazines can also be ordered.

Do I need a car?
No, there will be a bus service stopping outside the Park as well as a shuttle service to Zahara. You will be able to hire a car from the Park should you require one and we can arrange airport transfers.
